ITV1's broadcast of Susan Boyle's story on the 13th December recieved an incredible 10 million viewers in the UK and a further 4.8 million on the TV guide cable channel in the US - their highest viewing figure ever and quadruple their average audience, gaining it the title of '#1 Rated Television Special in TV Guide Network’s History'.
