Sir Trevor MacDonald will present a special Christmas service held at St Clement Danes RAF Church attended by soldiers and their families. Joining him will be some of the country’s best loved singers and performers to sing a variety of our favourite Christmas Carols. These acts include Camilla Kerslake, The Soldiers, Faryl Smith, The Coldstream Guards and Hayley Westenra.
For this emotive and touching one hour film, we’ll spend time on the frontline with troops based in the southern province of Helmand in Afghanistan, finding out how they celebrate Christmas, what they miss most at home – what their messages are to their loved ones.
